Privacy Policy

LeadsTagger is a Chrome extension and web dashboard that lets Thumbtack Pros add tags, private notes and follow-up dates to their leads. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the extension, the dashboard at app.leadstagger.com and this website.

The short version

• We store only your Google name and email, plus the tags, notes and lead details you choose to save.
• The extension reads your Thumbtack inbox page to show your tags. It never sends messages or changes anything on your Thumbtack account.
• We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
• Deleting your account in the dashboard deletes everything.

What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We use them to create your account and sign you in. We don't receive your Google password.

Data you save. When you tag a lead, set a follow-up date or write a note, we store:

• the tag fields and options you design, and the values you set on each lead;
• the notes you write;
• the details needed to match them to the right lead: the Thumbtack lead ID, the customer's first name or display name as shown in your inbox, and the lead's URL.

Nothing else from Thumbtack. The extension reads your Thumbtack inbox and lead pages in your browser so it can find each lead and show your tags next to it. It does not collect or store your messages, customer phone numbers or addresses, your payment or billing information, or anything else from your Thumbtack account. It never sends messages, clicks buttons or changes anything on Thumbtack.

Basic technical data. Like any web service, our servers process technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages, keep the service secure and fix errors. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The dashboard uses a cookie to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use your data only to provide LeadsTagger: to sign you in, show your tags and notes in the extension and dashboard, apply plan limits, keep the service secure, and reply when you contact us.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the United States by Neon, and the service is served through Cloudflare's network. These providers process data on our behalf to run LeadsTagger and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. Data is encrypted in transit.

Sharing

We don't sell, rent or trade your data. We share it only with the service providers above, as needed to run LeadsTagger, or when the law requires it.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure

LeadsTagger's use and transfer of information received from the Chrome extension, and from Google APIs used to sign you in, adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We use this data only to provide and improve LeadsTagger's single purpose: tagging and tracking your Thumbtack leads.
• We do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide that purpose, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
• We do not use or transfer it for personalized advertising.
• We do not use or transfer it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
• No person at LeadsTagger reads your data unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it is needed for security or to comply with the law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. Leads you have tagged stay viewable and editable on every plan; we don't delete them when a trial ends or a limit is reached.

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. This permanently deletes your account, tag fields, tags, notes and lead records from our database. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing support@leadstagger.com.

Your choices

You can view, edit and delete your tags and notes at any time in the extension or dashboard. To stop the extension from reading your Thumbtack pages, remove it from Chrome. If you'd like a copy of your data or have a question about it, email us.

Children

LeadsTagger is a business tool for service professionals. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we'll let you know by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect.
